Meet Ulises
Paramedic. Ambulance Business Owner. Father.
I’m Ulises Teyes, a paramedic, ambulance business owner and father who believes leadership starts with showing up and doing the work. I have spent nearly fifteen years in emergency medicine serving people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Working in emergency services taught me how to stay calm, understand the problem and make decisions when the stakes are high. People do not need speeches when something goes wrong. They need someone who is prepared, takes responsibility and finds a way forward.
As a business owner, I understand what it takes to build an organization, create jobs, manage a budget and make sure every dollar has a purpose. I have worked through the same rising costs, regulations and everyday challenges faced by working families and small business owners throughout our community.
Most importantly, I am a father who wants Live Oak to be a city our families are proud to call home. I want safer neighborhoods, responsible financial planning, better infrastructure, stronger local businesses and more opportunities for families to come together.
