A Safer Live Oak
At a Glance
-
Reliable public safety with responsible use of city resources -
Safer streets, school zones and neighborhoods -
Emergency preparedness and clear communication
I have spent most of my adult life working in emergency services. As a paramedic, EMS leader and ambulance business owner, I understand how important preparation, communication and reliable response are when people need help. Keeping people safe is not just another campaign issue for me. It has been the foundation of my career.
Live Oak deserves dependable public safety coverage that meets the actual needs of our community while using city resources responsibly. That means understanding what services we currently receive, identifying any gaps and making sure our contracts and regional partnerships are delivering the response and presence residents expect.
A safer Live Oak also means addressing the everyday concerns residents see in their neighborhoods. We need safer streets, school zones and crosswalks, along with a serious response to speeding, traffic hazards, neglected properties and other issues that affect how safe people feel where they live.
We also need to be prepared for emergencies that can affect the entire community, including fires, floods, extended power outages and extreme weather. Live Oak should have clear plans, reliable communication and strong partnerships in place before an emergency happens.
